About this Data
The cemetery names on this list have been gleaned from a number of sources including maps, submissions, and various books. One book in particular Small Cemeteries of Kenton County lists the results of a county-wide inventory of cemeteries that took place prior to 1980. Many of the small cemeteries in that book no longer exist. The fully indexed book was published is Kenton Co. Genealogical Society and is available at the Kenton Co. Library.
I did not list every cemetery in the book but have attempted to locate them on the topo and street maps available. If I could find the cemetery on the map or, if an index has been posted elsewhere on the net it is in the list. In the future I will attempt to locate those cemeteries in the book but missing from the maps. What ever I find (or don't find) will be noted here.
If you have info, photos, transcriptions you would like to share please do so. Many researchers will never have the opportunity to get to Kenton Co. and this would be a great resource for those that don't have the ability to travel.
