The Hester Family

John (2) Hester who was born June 11, 1765 in Pennsylvania. He died November 21, 1843 in Montgomery County, Kentucky. His wife, Margaret Gilbert Hester was born in 1767 in Pennsylvania and died February 7, 1854 in Jones County, Iowa.

They lived much of their lives in Fleming County, Kentucky where their 19 sons and 2 daughters were born.

Solomon Hester, the youngest son is also pictured here.

Solomon was born on January 20, 1815 and died in Harrison County, Iowa on March 27, 1904.
