A document has been found on page 265/6 in Bracken County dated ____ July 1816 and reads as follows:


Article of agreement made and entered into this __ day of July 1816 between Mordica McKinsey Sen and William McKinsey both of the County of Bracken and State of Kentucky witnesseth that for the great regard I have for my son William and the further consideration of a sufficient support for myself during life agree on my part to convey to the said William McKinsey during my natural life the plantation whereon I now live containing by deed sixty six acres of land be it more or less also my whole stock of horses cattle and hogs together with all my household and Kitchen furniture and plantation utensils of every description it is further understood by and between the parties aforesaid that after my death the said William McKinsey is to convey the said sixty six acres of land to my youngest son Mordica McKinsey to him and to his heirs forever and the stock and household and kitchen furniture and plantation utensils is to remain and be the property of the said William McKinsey forever. In witness where of I have here unto set my hand and affixed my hand and seal the day and date above written.

Bracken County July 26th, 1816 This article of agreement between Mordica McKinsey and William McKinsey was this day acknowledged by the said Mordica McKinsey and the same is ably recorded in my office.

An article of agreement made and entered into this 27th day of September eighteen hundred and seventeen between Mordica McKinsey Sn of the County of Bracken and state of Kentucky of the one part and William McKinsey of the same place of the other part where as an article of an agreement was entered into by the above named persons bearing date the 25th of July 1816 wherein the said Mordica McKinsey conveyed to the said William McKinsey 66 acres of land the plantation where on he then lived be the same more or less during the life of said Mordica McKinsey also all the stock horses cattle and hogs together with all his house hold kitchen furniture and plantation utensils of ever description and the said William McKensey covenanted in the same article to convey the said land after the said Mordica death to the said Mordica youngest son Mordica McKinsey and further covenanted sufficiently to support the said Mordica McKinsey Senr during his life now these presents witnesseth that by mutual consent the article before _____ is forever abrogated and rendered null and void. In testimony were of the said Mordica McKinsey Senr and William McKinsey have set their hands and the day and date first above written.
