On the same day of 6 December 1817 the following was recorded. Joseph Jones of Mason County to William McKinzey and Robert Downing of Mason County. In consideration of $2850, the conveyance of 54 acres and 25 poles of Mason County land on the west fork of Lawrence's Creek for a Mortgage. Description was by John McGowen's NW corner; to Walter Leach; to Orr and Wood's division line; being a part of John Prior's Survey.
