Heltsley, Dallas Taylor

Powderly - Dallas Taylor Heltsley Sr., 66, died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at his residence following a long illness.

He was a lifelong resident of Muhlenberg County, a retired farmer and a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mae Heltsley of Route 2 Central City; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Potter of Greenville and Miss Joan Heltsley of Hopkinsville; son, D. T. Helstley Jr. of Greenville; five brothers, Herbert Heltsley of Nashville, Tenn., Shelby, William, and Eura Heltsley of Louisville, and Leonard Heltsley of Greenville.

Funeral services were held Monday in Greenville. The Rev. A. B. Gross was in charge of services. The Rev. Robert L. Doss assisted. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Greenville.

Heltsley, Estil

Estil Heltsley, 55, Dies in Pittsburgh

Fairmount, W. Va. - Estil Heltsley, 55, of Fairmount, W. Va., died at a hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. Monday, July 29. He was a former resident of Drakesboro.

Survivors are a daughter and son; two brothers, Arthur Heltsley of Earlington, Ernest Heltsley of West Frankfort, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Randolph Kavanaugh of Corydon and Mrs. Dayton Underwood of Drakesboro.

Hill, Annie

Mrs. Annie Hill, 78, Is Buried April 15

Mrs. Annie Hill, 78, died on Thursday, April 14, at 2:30 a.m. at her home on Greenville Route 3.

She was born in Muhlenberg County on Dec. 25, 1888, and was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Aubrey Hill of Greenville Route 3; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Cary, Mrs. Pinkie Hammonds and Mrs. Lillie Wells, all of Greenville; two brothers, Walter Cook of Greenville Route 3 and Arthur Cook of Hammond, Ind.

Services were held Friday, April 15, at 3 p.m. at Lone Star Baptist Church, the Rev. William Bullock officiating, assisted by the Rev. Woodburn Green. Burial was in the church cemetery.
