Aaron Grace, 61, is Buried Oct. 12
Greenville - Aaron W. Grace, 61, died suddenly Thursday, Oct. 10, at 4:30 p.m. He was a retired carpenter, born in Muhlenberg County Dec. 7, 1906. He lived on White Plains Route 1.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hazel Grace of White Plains Route 1; two sons, Jewell Grace of Greenville Route 1 and James Grace of White Plains Route 1; four grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Bunny Dukes and Mrs. Dovie Dukes of Greenville, Mrs. Eunice Wagner of Hopkinsville, Mrs. Lucille Penner of Covington, Tenn.; brother, A.E. Grace of Louisville.
Services were Saturday at 2 p.m. at Green's Chapel Church with the Rev. James Wright, pastor, in charge. Burial was in church cemetery.

Greenville - Mrs. Hazel J. Grace, 80, of 209 Fairview Avenue, Greenville, died Tuesday, February 12, 1991 at 12:35 p.m. at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville.
Mrs. Grace was born in Muhlenberg County on October 11, 1910. She was a member of the Greens Chapel General Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, James W. Grace and Jewell Grace, both of Route 1, Greenville; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, February 14, 1991 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gary Funeral Home in Greenville with the Rev. Roy Ridenour officiating. Burial was in Greens Chapel Church Cemetery.

Funeral Services Sunday, 2 P.M. For Mrs. S. H. Gregory
Services to Be at Central City Baptist Church With Burial In Rose Hill Memorial
Mrs. Macie Gregory, 65, wife of S.H. Gregory, died at her home on Walnut Street, this city Wednesday morning. She had been bedfast for three weeks and in declining health for several weeks. Death occurred at 8:40 o'clock.
A former resident of Cleaton, she was a member of the Cleaton Baptist church. She moved to Central City 21 years ago, and was loved and admired by all. She was born at Dawson Springs, Ky., August 13, 1880.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Pfc. Charles Leo Gregory, who has been in the Army for almost three years and is now stationed in New Delhi, India, serving with units of the Military Railway Service on the meter-gauge Bendal and Assam Railway, getting supplies through to the Chinese.
Other survivors are four sisters, Mrs. Gracie Miller, this city, Mrs. Georgie Miller, Owensboro; Mrs. Elgie Lee, New Albany, Ind., Mrs. Susan Burnett, Evansville, Ind.; brothers, C. Sweeney of Tennessee, Tom Sweeney of Alabama, and Edgar Sweeney of Illinois; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Charles Leo Gregory, this city, several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conduct[ed] by Rev. Ray H. Dean and Rev. Hughlan Richey at the Central City Baptist Church at 2:00 Sunday afternoon. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial.
The body is at the Anderson Funeral Home where it will remain until the hour of the services.

Mrs. Mary Teresa Gregory, 78, of Central City Route 2, died Friday, March 3 at 8:15 p.m. at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
She was born April 29, 1910 in New York City and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Central City.
Survivors include one son, Christopher Gregory of Central City Route 2; daughter, Mary Teresa Gregory of Los Angeles, Calif.; brother, Joseph Dunne of New Jersey; two sisters, Rita McCrodden of Las Vegas, Nev. and Elizabeth Jorden of Phoenix, Ariz.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Tucker Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilson Lofland officiating. Burial was in Fairmount Cemetery.

Mrs. Groves, 88, Dies on April 8
Depoy - Mrs. Patsy Groves, 88, of Greenville Route 1, died at Muhlenberg Community Hospital Thursday, April 8, at 1:10 a.m. after an illness of several weeks.
Born in Muhlenberg County Dec. 24, 1888, she was a member of the Depoy Holiness Church.
She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Sally Vinson of Greenville Route 1, Mrs. Lillian Warner of Central City Route 1, Mrs. Mary Rolley of Graham Route 1, Mrs. Pline Cobb of White Plains and Mrs. Jane Stanley of Graham Route 1; son, Jim T. Groves of White Plains Route 1; 28 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jack Groves and Fait Groves of Depoy and Marshall Groves of White Plains.
Services were Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Holiness Church with Sister Bertha Richmond in charge.
