Goldsworthy, William T.
W.T. Goldsworthy, 91, Buried Monday
William T. Goldsworthy, 91, died at 4 p.m. Saturday at a Hopkinsville hospital.
He was born in Alabama on Aug. 23, 1873, the son of James and Eliza Jane Goldsworthy, natives of England.
He had been a coal miner about 50 years and had lived in Central City about 60 years.
Surviving are one niece, Mrs. Mary Goldsworthy Bryan of Paducah, and a nephew, Carl Goldsworthy of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three cousins, Mrs. Ruby Besheares of Evansville, Mrs. Anna Bryant and Mrs. Eunice Davis of Madisonville.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday in Central City conducted by the Rev. Eugene Thompson. Burial was in Fairmount Cemetery.
