Johnnie was one of the three children of Willam and Elizabeth. He had two sisters he didn't know, died early age . Their names were Myrtle and Annie Munson. Johnnie married Amy Gertrude Bradley on July 31, 1926. She was the daughter of Darius Braxter Bradley and Frannie C.Robinson. Johnnie and Amy were married for 40 years, they got divorce Oct. 10, 1966. They lived in Robertson County,Kentucky until the year of 1938, when they moved to Gallatin County, Ky, where he spent rest of his life. He died March 9,1979, due to fatal cancer.(Arthristis Cancer). Johnnie was 74 years old when he died, lived R# 1 Sparta,Ky. During this marriage of 40 years Johnnie and Amy had six children. 25 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Today at the present if Johnnie was living 2001. He would have 31 grandchildren, 40 greatgrandchildren, 13 great -greatgrandchildren. Mrs.Sarah Mahulda (Kenton )Whaley, died in her lod cabin, Friday 17, 1911, In Robertson County, Kentucky, age 101 years.

She was well known woman belonging to a promiment family..

A sketch of her life taken from a History of Kentucky published in 1888 gives the following facts in regard to her family history. She was born in Nicholas County in 1809. Her father was William Kenton, a farmer of Nicholas County and in 1812 a soldier under Gen. Collier.

Her mother was Jane Burden, of Kentucky. Her paternal grand-father was Simon Kenton, of Virginia, who came to Kentucky in his early days, settled in Nicholas County, and followed farming.

Sarah married in 1830 to Hiram Whaley, farmer of Mason County, who died 1870. Sarah own over 250 acreas of good farming land near Mt. Olivet, and was a memeber of the Methodist Episcopal Church...

The Advance says:

Sarah Mahulda Whaley was up to almost the very hour of her death in her ordinary robust health. Only week was recored of her visiting her daughter Mrs. Larry Burns. She had risen on Sunday morning, as usual, and had completed dressing excepting perhaps the fastening of her apron by her grand-daughter, when she gently fell into the latter's arms and peacefully breathed her last... The funeral services were conducted at Kentontown, on Wednesday afternoon by Rev.Edward Allen.
