Willis Wilson Buckler was born in 1794 in St. Mary's County, Maryland.

1825 at Blue Licks, Kentucky. Willis, who died after 1860, was an Inn-Keeper near Blue Licks.
He was the son of Stephen Buckler and Unknown Greene.
Stephen Buckler was born in 1766 in St, Mary's County, Maryland. His wife was born in
1767. They were married in 1783. Stephen, who died in 1847,
was the son of William Robert Buckler and Mary Meade.
William Robert Buckler was born on October 10, 1745 in Dublin, Ireland. Mary Meade was
born in 1747 in Ireland. They were married in 1783. "Robert" was the Master of the schooner
"The Elizabeth" and landed in Alexandria, Virginia 1773. Robert, who died on February 8,
1819 in Washington County, Kentucky, was the son of Stephen Buckler and Elizabeth Woodward
Buckler. (Note - Robert is buried in the Buckler Family Cemetery in Rywick, Marion County,
Kentucky).
Stephen Buckler was born May 9, 1721 in Dublin, Ireland. He was baptized at St. Peters
Church in Dublin. Elizabeth Woodward was born in 1723 in Dublin, Ireland. They were married
October 13, 1744 in York County, Virginia. In 1760 Stephen became Master of the Schooner
"The Hawks". Stephen died in 1781 in Virginia. Stephen was the son of Andrew Buckler and
Susan Marshall. Note - Stephen had a twin brother, Robert.
Andrew Buckler was born November 3, 1694 in Dublin, Ireland. Susan Marshall was born in
1696 in Dublin, Ireland. They were married May 23, 1720 in Dublin. Andrew Buckler was the
owner and Master of the ship "The Baltimore". Andrew lived in Dublin, Ireland and St.
Michael's Barbados. He was murdered on-ship in December 1735. Andrew was the son of John
Buckler and Elisabeth Woodward.
The Baltimore, bound from Dublin to Annapolis Maryland with 28 people aboard, including
her owner with his wife, Andrew and Susanna Buckler; being off course, "fell in with the
Tusketts" (the Tusket Islands, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia). It is known that the vessel
was carrying 5 or 6 "convicts," and, the owner having difficulty, was slaughtered while at
sea along with his some of his crew members. The remainder of the group, excepting Mrs.
Buckler, died from disease, injury or hypothermia. The ship wintered in one of the harbours
nearby. Susanna Buckler made her way eventually to Annapolis, Maryland. (from Buckleriana,

John Buckler was born January 28, 1654 in Polke County, Dorset, England. Elisabeth
Woodward was born in 1668 in Dorset, England. They were married on January 6, 1691 at St.
Martin's, Westminister, England. They resided in London and Rotherhithe, Surrey, England.
John, who died January 28, 1654 in Polke County, England, was the son of Andrew Buckler and
Elizabeth Churchill.
Andrew Buckler was born in May 8, 1614 in Weymouth County, Dorset, England. Elizabeth
Churchill was born 1629 in Surrey County, England. Andrew, who died on September 15, 1659,
was the son of Andrew Buckler and Anne Daubeney.
Andrew Buckler was born in 1573 in Dorset, England. Anne Daubeney (daughter of George
Daubeney) was born 1592 in Garwell, England. They were married in 1612 in Parish of Litton,
Cheney County, Dorset, England. Andrew, who died in 1625, was the son of John Buckler and
Elizabeth Preston.
John Buckler was born in 1530 in Dorset, England. Elizabeth Preston (daughter of John
Preston) was born about 1550 in Somerset, England. They were married on September 7, 1572 in
Radipol, County Dorset, England. John was the son of Andrew Buckler and Frances Unknown.
Note: John's brother, Walter Buckler, was knighted by King Edward IV. Sir Walter served
King Henry in many ways. He became the trusted secretary to Queen Katherine Parr, the sixth
wife of Henry VIII. He was chamberlain to Princess Elizabeth and after she
became Queen Elizabeth I, she assigned him to her privy council.
Andrew Buckler was born in 1501 in Dorset, England. Frances Unknown was born in 1503.
They were married in 1520. Andrew, who died in 1560, was the son of John Buckler and Agnes
Barber.
John Buckler was born in 1475 at Causeway County, Dorset, England. Agnes Barber (daughter
of John Barber) was born in 1480 in Dorset, England. They were married in 1500. John died in
1540 in Dorset, England and was buried at St. Margaret, Westminister. He was the son of John
Buckler and Mary Compton.
John Buckler was born in 1442 in Causeway County, Dorset, England. Mary Compton was born
in 1445. They were married in 1472 (during the reign of Edward IV). John died in 1483 in
Dorset, England.
