MOTHER OF WM. H. GARRISON
DIES WEDNESDAY MORNING.
Mrs. Belle Devaughn died at 1:15 o'clock Wednesday morning at the home of
her son, William H. Garrison, on Orchard Avenue, of the infirmities of age.
She was aged 88 years and 13 days.
She was a Miss before marriage to the late John Garrison, to which
union seven children were born, namely, Sherman, deceased; Wm. H., at whose
home she died; Walter, of Ohio; Ora, of Fairview; Mrs. Haden Highlander, of
near Ewing; Ella, of Indiana; Cora, of Lexington.
Following the death of her first husband she married the late George Sons.
Her third marriage was to a Mr. Devaughn, now deceased. She had been
blind for many years and made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Haden
Highlander, until recently, when she was brought to the home of her son,
Mr. Garrison.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the' home of
her son, Mr. Garrison. Interment in the old McKenzie Graveyard on Brierly
Ridge pike, in charge of Kain & Kabler.
