Everett Jessup, 66, Dies on Jan. 7
Everett Jessup, 66, died Friday, Jan. 7 at 5:15 a.m. in Muhlenberg Community Hospital.
He was born in Muhlenberg County Oct. 23, 1905 and lived on Greenville Route 1. He was a retired sawmill operator and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Tillie Jessup of Greenville Route 1; two sons, Edward Jessup and Earl Jessup of Crown Point, Ind.; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Hallie Bethel of Greenville and Mrs. Allie Bard of Greenville Route 1; three brothers, George Jessup and Jim Jessup of Greenville Route 1, J. W. Jessup of White Plains.
Funeral services were Sunday at 2 p.m. at Vernal Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Fred Fox. Burial was in the Vernal Grove Baptist Church cemetery.
