Thomas Reardon Family
Migration from Maryland to the Kentucky frontier
Thomas Reardon (also spelled Rawdon/Raddon) migrated to Dorchester County, Maryland, on 12 July 1679. By the late 1780s, his descendants had moved through North Carolina and the Cumberland Gap into Kentucky. By 1790, they were in Fayette County, near Clifton and Versailles.
Members of the family settled north of Frankfort in Franklin County at Bald Knob. This lineage includes connections to the Searcy, Aynes, Quire, Moore, and Thompson families.

Henry Reardon
Moved from Virginia to Granville County, NC, in 1754, then to Kentucky in the late 1780s. Died in Woodford County, KY, circa 1795.
Hiram Reardon
Married Isabella "Eby" Aynes (step-daughter of John Searcy, Jr.) on 28 September 1803 in Woodford County. They moved to Franklin County, north of Frankfort at Bald Knob.
Dennis Reardon
Farmed on Goose Creek near Lebanon Road. Married Polly Shannon (died 1875).
Hiram Reardon
Married Molly Quire. Owned property on Flat Creek and a store at Polsgrove. Buried in Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery.
Robert Washington Reardon
Married Sophronia Bell Moore of Swallowfield on 11 November 1890. Farmed in Franklin and Woodford Counties. Buried in Versailles Cemetery.
Enos Price Rarden
Married Perlina Ellen Thompson on 27 February 1924. Moved to Gypsum, Ohio, in 1927.
