John Louis Harrod Family

John Louis Harrod, son of Horace Harrod and Sarah Ann Quire Harrod, was born 15 May 1854 in Franklin County, Kentucky. A blacksmith by trade, he married Margaret Ann "Mag" Goins (daughter of Lewis F. Goins and Lucretia Rice Goins) on 17 June 1878 in Franklin County.
By 1910, the family was living in Shelby County, but John (then a widower) and several younger children returned to Franklin County by 1920. According to his death certificate, John Louis Harrod is buried in the Gowens Graveyard on St. Johns Road in Franklin County, though no marker exists. The burial place of his wife, Margaret, is unknown.
