Hezekiah Hamilton Family
Wagon maker of Clark and Franklin Counties
Hezekiah Hamilton was born on 30 March 1808 in Kentucky. He married Catherine Bruner on 11 May 1831 in Clark County, Kentucky. Catherine, the daughter of John S. Bruner and Rebecca Blackburn, was born about 16 August 1812 in Winchester, Clark County.
A wagon maker by trade, Hezekiah moved the family from Clark County to Franklin County shortly after 1850. Hezekiah died on 7 January 1864 in Franklin County, and Catherine died on 27 January 1900. Both are buried in the North Benson Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin County.

Joseph Blackburn Hamilton
Married first Orpha Ann Rupe (daughter of John and Orpha Rupe) on 6 December 1863; married second Nellie E. ___? about 1890. Buried in the Frankfort Cemetery.
Children: Anna A., Ella, Druscilla, Carrie, and Sally.
