Francis Graham Family
Revolutionary War service and Kentucky settlement
Francis Graham was born about 1750 in Botetourt County, Virginia, to William Graham (born in New Castle County, Delaware) and Priscilla Robinson. Francis arrived in Kentucky in 1786 after serving as a Captain in the Revolutionary War.
He married first Elizabeth Robinson on 28 January 1768. He settled in Franklin County, Kentucky, about 1796 on land along the Elkhorn. He married second Nancy Partlow on 14 September 1805. Francis died in Franklin County on 10 December 1809. His will is recorded in Franklin County Will Book 1, page 52.

William Graham
Married Margaret "Peggy" Montgomery on 16 January 1798 in Franklin County. He built Graham's Tavern north of the railroad at Jett.
Margaret "Peggy" Graham
Married William T. Phillips on 12 February 1803. Children included Rebecca (married Austin Piety Cox), Elizabeth, Fanny, and Joseph Francis.
Catherine "Kitty" Graham
Married Larkin Samuel, Jr. on 7 July 1810 in Franklin County. Children: Lucy, Larkin Robinson, Catherine, and Mariann Samuel.
Priscilla Graham
Married first William Bryant (c. 1790); married second William Montgomery on 4 November 1801 in Franklin County. Children: Francis Graham, Samuel C., James Harvey, Jeptha Dudley, Louisa, and Priscilla Montgomery.
Francis Graham, Jr.
Married Mary "Polly" B. T. Finnie in 1808. Buried in the Graham Cemetery, Indian Gap Road. Children included Margaret, John R., Mary, Robert, Benjamin F., J. F., J. Taylor, and a daughter who married A. B. Bacon.
Martha "Patsy" Graham
Married Lyddall Bacon on 6 March 1800 in Franklin County. Children included Edmond A., John M., and William R. Bacon.
George Washington Graham
Married Susan G. Runyan on 10 April 1804 in Franklin County. The family lived in South Frankfort.
Elizabeth "Betsy" Graham
Married Spencer Runyan on 26 June 1804. Buried in Williamstown Cemetery, Grant County, KY.
Robinson Graham
Died in action during the War of 1812.
David Graham
Married Sally Bacon on 13 January 1812 in Franklin County. Children included Elizabeth (who married a Vallandingham).
James Graham
Never married; died after being bitten by a snake.
John H. "Jack" Graham
Never married.
