Guardian Bonds - Phillip Sigler

Guardian Bonds 29th day of May 1821

      Know all men by these presents that we David Sigler Samuel Elder and John C. Gordon are
      held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the penal sum of two thousand
      dollars to the payment of which well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs,
      &c jointly and severally, firmly by these presents, dated and sealed this 29th day of May
      1821.

      The condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas, the above bound David Sigler
      hath this day been appointed guardian for Phillip Sigler infant and orphan of John Sigler
      dec'd aged nineteen years the fifth day of December last.
      Now if the said David Sigler shall faithfully act as guardian for said heir according to
      law in taking care of his estate, then the above obligation to be void else remain in
      full force and virtue in law.
