Vincent, William Thomas

William T. Vincent Dies in Bremen

Bremen - William Thomas (Uncle Bill) Vincent, 85, died at his home in Bremen at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14.

Mr. Vincent was born in Bremen in 1862 and had lived here all his life. For over 50 years he had been in the lumber business here and for 57 years had been a member of the Bremen Masonic Lodge.

Funeral services were held at the Bethlehem Church with the Rev. T.T. Moore, assisted by the Rev. Hughlan Richey, officiating. The services were at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 17. Burial was in Shaver's Chapel cemetery. The Masonic rites were said at graveside.

Mr. Vincent is survived by six sons, Giles, Chester and Ralph of Bremen, John H. of Louisville, Homer of Chicago and James of California; four daughters, Miss Helen Vincent and Mrs. Mable Blair of Louisville, and Mrs. Truman May and Mrs. Sherman Clark of Bremen; one brother, E.J. Vincent of Louisville, and 18 grandchildren.
