Cmdr. D.L. Brewer ends law course
Unit Commander Donald L. Brewer of Drakesboro, United States Army, of Annville, Pa., has been awarded a diploma after successfully completing a course in law from LaSalle Extension University of Chicago.
Commander Brewer, a career officer, is attached to the 1st USA Control Center, Co. 549th Ordinance Det. (EDC), Fort Meade, Md. He is a graduate of Drakesboro High School. He and his wife have two daughters, Donna, 6, and Deania, 4.

Browning named Outstanding Airman
Greenville - Airman 3 C Joseph F. Browning, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eura Browning of Greenville, has been selected base outstanding supply airman of the Quarter at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, NC. He was cited because of his dedication to service, reponsiveness to demands, initiative in applying knowledge and for exerting extra effort to provide more than mere satisfaction in his duties.
Airman Browning is described as being outstanding in every sense and he repeatedly demonstrates qualities that lead to his nomination as Airman of the Quarter.

M.C. Browning ends helicopter training
Greenville - Marion C. Browning, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Browning of Greenville Route 2, graduated Aug. 29 as an aviator from the Army Aviation School at Fort Rucker, Ala.
He received instruction in helicopter maintenance and survival techniques, various fire techniques and tactical maneuvers for helicopters supporting ground troops in Vietnam.
