The 1859 Birth Register is not available at the moment. There seems to be some confusion regarding dates between 1859 and 1860.

Transcribed from the original county birth returns (filed under the 1852 Sutton Law ). All births were recorded in a single list regardless of race. "Color" is shown as originally noted (W = White, B = Black/Colored, M = Mulatto). For many enslaved births, only the mother's name and sometimes the enslaver appear; fathers are rarely listed.
