LANIGAN
LANIGAN, Patrick Hugh November 03, 1927 - January 17, 2013 Patrick "Pat" Hugh Lanigan, 85, of H. Garrison Road in Waynesburg, departed this life on Thursday, January 17, 2013. Born Thursday, November 3, 1927 in Casey County to the late James "Jim" Lanigan and Lucky Jacobs Lanigan. Pat was a logger for 51 years. He was a member of the New Life Church of God of Prophecy and loved dirt track racing, deer hunting, and was a knife and gun collector. Pat married Billie Jean Adams on February 6, 1948. Their children include seven daughters and four sons; Rita Mullins (Jack) of Parker City, Indiana, Gary Lanigan (Vickie) of Richmond, Kay Lanigan of Waynesburg, Aileen Dalton (Terrel) of Somerset, Patty Kee (Leaburn) of Camden, Tennessee, Rosemary Hastings (Tim) of Camden, Tennessee, Nancy Gies of Danville, Patrick Lanigan (Regina) of Somerset, Bonnie Moore (Rickie) of Waynesburg, Jimmy Lanigan (Michele) of Somerset, Chris Lanigan of Eubank; 30 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by 3 brothers; Phillip, Perry and Paschal Lanigan, all of Ohio, 9 sisters; Polly Kathleen Ratpold of Union, KY, Parilee Page of Ohio, Pauline Calwin of Ohio, Peggy McGuffey of Kings Mountain, Pauletta Lanigan of Stanford, and Palma Lanigan of Waynesburg. Pat was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul & Porter Lanigan.
Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home with Bro. Vola Brown officiating the service.
Burial will follow in Double Springs Cemetery. Active Pallbearers; Terry Mullins, Doug Lanigan, Jason Dalton, Ryan and Cole Lanigan, Trampus Cook, Erick Moore, and Rush Lanigan. Visitation will be held after 5:00PM Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the funeral Home.
