ESTEP, Golden
ESTEP, Golden WAYNESBURG - Golden Estep, 88, of Waynesburg died Saturday at Veteran's Hospital in Lexington. Born Oct. 17, 1910, in Clay County, he was a son of the late Jim and Susie Blair Estep. He was a retired farmer and the widower of Mabel Eades Estep. He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Bud Estep, and a daughter, Wanda Estep.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Estep of Perryville and Johnny Estep of Waynesburg; one brother, Bob Estep of Waynesburg; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Double Springs Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Barnett and Demrow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. April, 3, 1997 – Thursday

IRVIN, William B. CRAB ORCHARD - Services for William "Bill" Bradley Irvin, 66, of Glade Fork Road, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at McKnight-Martin Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. He died Wednesday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lexington. Born Jan. 7, 1933, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Edward and Dorothy M. Turner Irvin. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran having served during the Korean War and was a recipient of a national defense service medal and a good conduct medal. He was a retired dairy farmer and a member of Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars Cleve Dunn Post 200 of Louisville.
Survivors include his wife, Mable Leigh Irvin; two sons, Rick Irvin of Crab Orchard and Tim Irvin of Flat Rock, Mich.; a daughter, Tonya Smith of Crab Orchard; three sisters, Vernice Yantz of Waynesburg, Doris Acton and Elsie Hendrickson, both of Crab Orchard; three brothers, Joe Irvin and Homer Irvin, both of Crab Orchard and Elzie Irvin of Arlington, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. PENNINGTON, Ophelia Ophelia Pennington, 95, formerly of Stanford, died Monday at Meadowbrook Nursing Home. Born Oct. 3, 1902, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late James and Amelia King and the widow of James C. Pennington. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Crab Orchard.
Survivors include two sons, James Pennington of Akron, Ohio, and Charles Pennington of Dayton, Ohio; a daughter, Edna Gibbons of Lexington; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Thomas, Paul and Robert Pennington; and a daughter, Ethel Pennington. Services will be noon Friday at First Baptist Church, Crab Orchard, by the Rev. James Bartleston and D.J. Ward.
Burial will be in Crab Orchard Cemetery. Oct. 13, 1996 – Sunday
