ADAMS, Emma Jean Napier London, Kentucky 09 April 1928 - April 30, 2004 Emma Jean Adams, 76, of Dogwood Trail, London, Kentucky, died Friday, April 30, 2004, at her residence. Born April 9, 1928, in Appalachia, Virginia, she was a factory worker for Caron Spinning Co., a school bus monitor, and a member of the London Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and John Napier; her husband, Lee E. Adams; two sisters, Laura Ball and Dorothy Harris; and two brothers, Bill Napier and Hub Napier.
Survivors include two sons, James Adams and Jerry Adams, both of London, Kentucky; two daughters, Connie Dugger and Teresa Howard, both of London, Kentucky; four sisters, Ollie Blackburn, Cindy Nicely, both of London, Kentucky, Hazel Brock of Crab Orchard, Kentucky, and Geraldine Ely of Kingsport, Tennessee; a brother, Henry Napier of London, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, May 5, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Delmer Gross officiating.
Burial followed in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens at Lily, Kentucky. Wednesday, May 10, 2006 – Danville Advocate-Messenger
