TURNER, Betty B. d. 04 Jan 2005 LANCASTER - Services for Betty Sue Brummett Turner, 58, of Crab Orchard Road, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Thurman Pearson.
Burial will be in Cartersville Cemetery. She died Tuesday at her home. Born Nov. 28, 1946, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late George and Reatha Browning Brummett. She was a member of Hour of Redemption Church.
Survivors include her husband, Chester Turner; two daughters, Reba Turner of Lancaster and Carol Turner of Stanford; two sons, Marvin Turner of Lancaster and Michael Turner of Stanford; her former husband, Robert M. Turner of Lancaster; six brothers, Hulen Brummett and Buddy Brummett, both of Garrard County, Cliston Brummett of South Carolina, Jimmy "Jargo" Brummett of Jackson County, Roy Browning of Lancaster and Tony Browning of Stanford; two sisters, Nancy Cash of South Carolina, and Doris Poynter of Berea; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Mark Turner, Mark Turner Jr., Mickie Poynter, Shane Poynter, Roger Davis and D.J. Lierette. January 04, 2005 - Tuesday TURNER, Margo d. 29 Dec 2004 Services for Margo Turner, 49, of Lincoln County, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel AME Church by the Rev. Dana Dawkins.
Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Jessamine County. She died Wednesday at Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center in Somerset. Born Jan 2, 1955, in Danville, she was the daughter of Airy Lee Turner of Lincoln County, and the late Edward Harris. She was a member of Bethel AME Church in Stanford, and served in the Army. Other survivors include three brothers, Robert J. Alcorn of Tampa, Fla., Richard C. Alcorn of Stanford and Paul D. Turner of Everett, Wash.
