COY, CLYDE Mr. Clyde Lee Coy, 66, 388 Runyon Road, died Monday, June 17, 1996 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born December 16, 1929 in Lincoln county, he was the son of the late O. H. and Effie Smock Coy. He was a retired meat manager for Kroger where he was employed for 40 years. He was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, former superintendent of the young peoples department, teacher for 10 year old boys department, manager of VFW baseball team, Council of Boy Scouts, operated Coy & Daughtery food booth at the Mercer County Fair and Horse Show for over 25 years.
Survivors include: his wife, Lucille Wiley Coy, Harrodsburg; three sons, Michael Coy, Chapel Hill, NC, Larry Coy, Lexington, Jeff Coy, Harrodsburg; one daughter, Sandy Coy Pickett, Harrodsburg; five brothers, Tab Coy, MI, Donald Coy, Cincinnati, OH, Charles Coy, OH and Alvin Coy, FL; one sister, Joann Bates, Berea; seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Neal.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 19 at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Rev. Wallace Carrier and Dr. Robert DeFoor officiating.
Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.

ELLIOTT, Estie, d. 29 July, 2004 LIBERTY - Estie Elliot, 85, of Oliver Bastin Road, Waynesburg, died Thursday at her home. Born Sept. 3, 1918, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Luther Salyers and Mary Jane Floyd. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Olive Christian Church. She was the widow of Calin C. "Dickie" Elliott.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Martin of Liberty; five sisters, Betty Meeks of Kings Mountain, Clytha Godbey, Martha Robertson and Mary Liz Carrer, all of Waynesburg, and Bertha M. Fight of Ohio; four brothers, Clifford Salyers of Glasgow, Vernon Salyers of Middleburg, Jessie Salyers of Liberty and Norman Salyers of Somerset; a grandson and a great-granddaughter. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Mt. Olive Christian Church by Greg Powell.
Burial will be Salyers Cemetery.

GOOCH, Samuel H., d. 05 June 2004 Samuel Howard Gooch Jr., 90, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Danville, died Saturday in Mesa. Born June 10, 1913, in Stanford, he was the son of the late Tim and Virgil Gooch. He was a retired Danville school employee and barber and a deacon and member of Turnersville Baptist Church. He was the widower of Ethel Goode Gooch.
Survivors include a daughter, Lucille Meaux of Danville; five sons, Leon Gooch of Danville, Frank Gooch of Mesa, Robert Gooch of Cincinnati, James Gooch of Stanford and Samuel Gooch of Baltimore, Md.; a sister, Lucille Jones of Danville; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Second and Walnut streets, by the Rev. Herman Bradshaw.
Burial will be in Turnersville Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. August 1, 2004 - Sunday

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Goodpaster; two daughters, Brandy Faddis of Waynesburg and Lori Gaskin of Stanford; a son, Ronnie Goodpaster of Danville; a sister, Michelle Jones of Trenton, Ga.; two brothers, David Falconberry of Waynesburg and Joe Proffitt of Knoxville, Tenn.; and one grandchild. KIDD, Emma K . d. 29, July, 2004 SOMERSET - Emma Katherine Adams Kidd, 62, of Somerset, formerly of Garrard County, died Thursday at her residence. Born May 13, 1942, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Milton Adams and Addie Mae Tankersley. She was a homemaker and member of First Presbyterian Church in Somerset. She was president of the Eagles Nest Ladies Golf Association and the first female to make a hole in one at Eagles Nest Country Club. She was a board member of Eagles Nest Country Club, a member of Central Kentucky Golf Association and a member of Lake Cumberland Ladies Golf Association.
Survivors include her husband, Eddie P. Kidd; three daughters, Sherri K. Smith of Stanford, Patricia L. Mayfield of Somerset and Rhonda Denise Kidd of Somerset; a brother, Donald Adams of Stanford; and six grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, Somerset, by the Rev. John Cole.

MOAK, Helen F. HAMILTON, Ohio - Helen F. Moak, 72, of Hamilton, Ohio, died July 13 at her residence. Born April 5, 1932, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Walter E. and Mabel Clara Reed Yates. She was the wife of John Moak. Additional survivors include three daughters, Renay Begley, Kay Whitaker and Sandy Kuhlman, all of Hamilton; two sons, James Moak and David Moak, both of Hamilton; two sisters, Lida Chaney of McKinney and Grace Sutton of Lexington; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were July 17 at Brown Dawson Funeral Home by the Rev. Ronald Stewart.

RANDOLPH, Jerry W., d. 30 July 2004 STANFORD - Jerry Wayne Randolph, 37, of Sims Road, Crab Orchard, died Friday at his residence. Born May 22, 1967, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Carl and Jeanette Johnson Randolph. He was a construction worker.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle Cantrell Randolph; a son, J.R. Randolph; a stepson, James Caudill; a brother, Gary Randolph; and four sisters, Sally Reed, Gay Randolph, Tammy Lamb and Teresa Petrey, all of Crab Orchard. REYNOLDS, TOMMY Sr. d. 21 Nov 2001 CRAB ORCHARD- Tommy Wayne Reynolds Sr., 45, of Pine Grove Road died Wednesday at his home. Born May 20, 1956, in Stanford, he was the son of Eva Denny Reynolds Jennings of Crab Orchard and Thomas Reynolds of Somerset. He was owner and operator of Reynolds and Son Construction. He was the husband of Carlene Denson Reynolds, and was a member of Union Chapel Holiness Church. Survivors also include one son, Tommy Wayne Reynolds Jr. of Crab Orchard; one daughter, Dana Reynolds of Crab Orchard; two sisters, Tina Stickler of Waynesburg and Jackie Stringer of Greenbrier, Tenn.; two brothers, Billy Joe Reynolds of Crab Orchard and Allen Larue Reynolds of Somerset; stepfather, Emby Jennings of Crab Orchard; and stepmother, Shirley Reynolds of Somerset. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Union Chapel Holiness Church, Hwy. 1505, Brodhead, by Ralph Reynolds.

SANDIDGE, Robert Clark MORELAND - Robert Clark "Bobby" Sandidge, 83, of Junction City, died Monday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born Aug. 2, 1920, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Clifton and Ida Pittman Sandidge. He was a retired farmer and attended Mount Freeman Baptist Church. He was the widower of Lizzie Sandidge.
Survivors include a sister, Diane Trailor of Moreland; nieces and a nephew. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Bill Rhodus.

SUMMERS, DAISY Mrs. Daisy Gladys Summers, 58, of 449 North Main Street, died Monday, June 24, 1996 at her residence. Born in Lincoln County, July 8, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Alice Hensley. She was a member of the Pioneer Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her husband, James T. Summers, Harrodsburg; one son, David Summers, Harrodsburg; three daughters, Dianne Summers, Darlene Merriman and Debbie Mattingly, all of Harrodsburg; six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson. A memorial service was held June 27 at the Pioneer Baptist Church with Rev. Lewis M. Walter officiating. She was taken to the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home and later to the Body Bequeathal Program at the University of Kentucky. STANFORD - Services for Ransom Yocum, 54, of Hustonville, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Spurlin Funeral Home.

He was the widower of Kathy Bolin Yocum. He was a farmer.
