BELCHER, Pearl Todd, d. 06 Apr 2001 BELCHER, Pearl Todd, 93, Harness Ridge Road, Crab Orchard, died Friday, April 6, 2001, at Fort Logan Hospital, Stanford. Born Feb. 5, 1908, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late William and Effie Bastin Todd. She was a farmer and homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Ben Belcher, Berea; two daughters, Cynthia Belcher Harrison, Louisville, and Edna Faye Belcher Howell, Somerset; two brothers, Lois Todd, Waynesburg, and Lester Todd, Cincinnati; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, Whitt Belcher; her parents; a son, Whitt Belcher Jr.; a daughter, Essie Lee Belcher Jackson; five brothers, Bernie, Stanley, Leslie, Leonard and Homer Todd; and three sisters, Ethel Bowman, Edna Todd Belcher and Marie Todd Wren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 9, at New Hope Church of God with Bro. Cecil Roundtree officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Feb. 14, 1997 - Friday

GIFFORD, Russell C., d. 05 Feb. 1998 MORELAND - Services for Russell C. Gifford, 59, of McKinney, will be 1 p.m. Monday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Bob Bausam.
Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.He died Thursday at home of natural causes.Born Aug. 5, 1938, in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late Carl and Audrey Smith Gifford. He worked for Whirlpool for several years as a fork lift operator.Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Marlow of McKinney and Paula Gifford of Danville; three brothers, Robert and Franklin Gifford of McKinney, and Donnie Gifford of Liberty; one sister, Connie Buis of Yosemite; and three grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Scott Gifford, Larry and Jason Buis, Wayne Pullum, Clarence Manuel, and Keith Coffman.
