State of Kentucky: William Hulett served in the War of 1812 with the Clark County Militia. He first served with Lt. James S. Waide's Company, Seventh Regiment, U.S. Infantry, commanded by Col. William Russell, and again with Capt. John V. Bush's Company with the Clark County, Kentucky militia to relieve troops at Detroit.
