In the name of God, amen. I, William Mayhall in the County of Franklin County and State of Kentucky being of sound mind and memory, blessed by Almighty God for the same do
make and publish this my last will and testament.
I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Jane, the use, improved and income of my dwelling houses, lands and their appurtenances situated in the county of Franklin and State of
Kentucky to have and to hold the same to her, for and during her natural life. I also give my wife Jane all of my cash or cash notes which I may have on hand at my death and also
all of my horses, cattle, sheep and hogs to have during her natural life and at her death, the land and other property to be sold and equally divided between my children except
Frances H. Wilson, and her to have five hundred dollars over and above one share and provided she marries, her share to go to her two children, Sarah Billiston Wilson and William
Thomas Wilson.
I also give, devise and bequeath to Martha Frances Rupe one hundred dollars over and above her equal share of her mother's part. I do nominate and appoint James
R. Watson the trustee of the orphan Rupe children. I do nominate James R. Watson the sole Executor of this my last will and testament. I furthermore declare that if there is one of
my children not satisfied with this my will, that his or her part shall be taken and divided in equal shares between the others. In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal
and publish this to be my last will and testament in the presence of the witnesses named below this 19th October 1857.
