Know all men by these presents that I Sarah Katharine Cox, of the Court of Franklin and State of Kentucky being sound in mind and memory, but feeble in health, do hereby make this my

last will and testament.

First: I will that after just debts are paid that ll of my money shall be paid to my sister Mary E. Coots and her bodily heirs except fifty dollard which I will shall be paid to my cousin, Julia

Jackson of Lexington, Kentucky provide, however, that she remains single until my death. I will that my cousin, Samuel S. Cox, shall be my Executor so that my will is executed and

carried into effect. Given under my hand this 28th day of October 1871.

A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Sarah K. Cox, decd. was produced in Court and proven by the oaths of E. W. Hedden one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, who

also, proved the attestation of H. H. Cleveland the other subscribing witness. Wherefore it was ordered that said will be recorded. Which is done.
