I J. D. Black of the County of Franklin and State of Kentrucky being of sound mind and disposing memory do make this my last will and testament.

I give, devise and bequeath my estate and property, real and personal, as follows, that is to say:

1st I devise that ll my just debts shall be paid.

2nd I hereby will and bequeath to my son E. H. Black in trust for the use and benefit of my beloved wife Sally, all of my property both real and

personal of every description, during her natural life. That is to say, I desire that E. H. Black shall take charge of all said property, as Trustee, for

the use and benefit of my said wife, and collect all the rents and profits arising therefrom, and invest all of the personal property as he thinks best

for her benefit, the proceeds of all said property he is to supply to her support.

3rd I hereby authorize an empower said E. H. Black as Trustee aforesaid to use and apply any part or all of the personal estate to the support of

my said wife, if he deems it necessary. And in the event of that not being sufficient, I hereby authorize him to sell the real estate, or any part thereof

and re-invest the proceeds this of, if he deems it best for the interest of my said wife and Grand-children hereinafter mentioned - provided my wife

gives her consent.

4th After the death of my said wife I desire that all of my real property or the proceeds thereof that my be left go to the children of my deceased

son John R. Black namely James Black, Susan Black, Eliza Black, Lizzie Black, Ranie Black and Mattie Black, that is to say, I will and bequeath

all of my real property or the proceeds thereof to said Children in fee simple, Subject to the above provisions for my said wife.

5th Whatever personal property may be left at the death of my said wife, belonging to my estate, except the proceeds of the real property, I will and

bequeath to my daughters Susan Adams and her heirs, and Martha Wilkerson and her heirs.

6th I hereby appoint my son E. H. Black the executor of this my last will and testament and desire that he sall not be required to give any bond

whatever as said Executor of my estate.

In Testimony whereof I hereunto affix my hand & seal on this the 11th day of May 1871.

We the undersigned in the presence of J. D. Black and in the presence of one another,

heard the above will read to him, and saw him Sign his own proper Signature thereto.

A writing purporting to be the last will and Testament of J. D. Black, Decd. was produced in Court and proven by the oath of John W. Rodman, one

of the Subscribing witnesses thereto, who also proved that the signature of Richd. H. Moss, the other Subscribing witness to said will was in the

hand writing of said Moss. Whereupon, It was ordered that said will be recorded. Which is done.
