I Eleanor Johnson of Franklin County & State of Kentucky being in my right mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament
in the manner and form following: (to wit)
First I lend unto my daughter Elizabeth Baugh a negro woman Mary & her two children amy & wilton and
side saddle during her life and at her death property to her children their heirs & assigns &
Second I lend to my son William T. Johnson during his life one negro boy named Jack and one named Gabriel one bed & furniture & after his death
to fall to his children their heirs & assigns forever.
Third I do lend to my son Sherod H. Johnson one negro man named Isaac & all the money that he ows me during his life and at his death the same
to be given to his lawful begotten children their heirs &cforever----
Fourth I lend to my Daughter Polly Brown one negro woman named Diry & her two children Maria & Ben during her life & at her death the same property
to fall to her children their heirs & assigns forever ------
Fifth I give to my son Major Johnson one Dollar to him & his heirs forever. Sixth I do lend my son George T Johnson one negro boy named Abraham
on bed and furniture during his life and at his Death the same to fall to his lawful children their heirs &c.
Seventh I lend to my Daughter Angel M. Smith one negro woman named Nancy & Biddy & Bot her children during her life and at her death to fall to her
children their heirs &cforever.
Eight I lend to my son Able Johnson one negro man named Archibald and a boy named Jerry his life and a mare I purchased of him & at his Death the
same property to fall to his lawful heirs &cforever.
Ninth I lend to Susan Reding my daughter one negro woman named Delila and a girl named Harriett & one bed and furniture during her life & at her death
the same Property to fall to her heirs &cforever.
Tenth I do lend to my son Peter D. Johnson one negro boy Milton and a girl named Syntha during his life and at his Death to fall to his lawful begotten
children if any and if none then the same property to be divided among the Rest of my children.
Eleventh - whereas I feel myself much Indebted to my Grand Daughter Elizabeth Baugh for her services & faithful attention to me as a compensation
I lend her a negro girl named Cate a bed and furniture, one side saddle & a trunk. Also the roan mare during her life and at her death the Property to
be given to her lawful heirs forever. And lastly James Hunter and William Boyd Esq. sole Executors of this my last will and testament.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 24th day of December in the year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty
five. Signed sealed & delivered by the aforesaid Eleanor Johnson to be her last will and testament.
