I, Priscilla Church being admonished body weakness of mortality, for which I must provide but not withstanding my weakness being of perfectly sound disposing, mind and

being mindful of the last wishes of my deceased father, & desirous to give them effect do make this my last will & testament.

1. I will bequeath & desire to my Uncle William Church six hundred dollars for the following purpose "to wit", the said six hundred dollars is to remain in his hands as a

trustee for Margaret Vanallen my cousin, & my said Uncle Wm. Church is to pay her the interest on the said sum of six hundred dollars until she marries or comes of the

age of twenty one and on the happening further event I will that the said fund of six hundred dollars be paid over to her by my uncle Wm. Church (who is hereafter appointed

my executor & is absolutely at her disposal).

2and. I will that my uncle Robert Church who is indebted to the Estate given me by my father by bond in the sum of about two hundred dollars be discharged and acquitted

of said debt & receive the same as a legacy.

3rd. I will bequeath and desire to my cousin Jack Church the son of Wm my executor my negro boy Adam to him & his heirs forever.

4thly I will bequeath and desire to my cousin Nancy Church my negro girl Phebe, a bed and bureau to her & her heirs forever.

5th I give & bequeath to my Executor William Church two hundred dollars to be expended in the purchase of a tract of land which said tract of Land is to be held by him

& his heirs in trust & for the use of James Bryan Church my brother & his heirs.

6th I will and bequeath to my said brother James Bryan Church my mare & a saddle now in my possession, but I do hereby revoke this bequest & the one immediately

preceding for his benefit. If he should prosecute a suit to set a side the will of my deceased father which was recently proven in the County Court of Franklin and it is

my will that he receive one part of my property but on condition that he will Bring no such suit.

7th I will bequeath & devise to my uncle William Church my Extr to him and his heirs forever all my property real, personal & mixed which I have not otherwise disposed

of herein & do also make him and his heirs my reversionary as well as residuary Legatee on the contingency of the reversion if only of the property by the failure of the

said bequests by the conditions thereof or from any cause whatsoever & I do hereby appoint my uncle William Church the Executor of this my last will & testament.

9th I do hereby further will that in case my brother James Bryan Church should attempt and succeed in setting aside my fathers will lately proven in Court that the half of my

fathers estate to which I am entitled as heir by Law be vested and the same is hereby bequeathed & devised to my Executor William Church for the purpose of giving to

each of my Legatees a portion of my half part aforesaid proportioned to the several legacies given in this will including himself as a residuary Legatee afd & I do submit the

division which I may thus become necessary to make of my half part, afd at his Judgment & discretion. In Witness hereto set my hand this 14th day of May 1824. The

words "is" , "reversionary" as well as "also" "may" in the body of the above will, enterlined before signed.

The Last will and testament of Priscilla Church, decd.. was produced in Court and proved by the oaths of Francis P. Black and Alexander Kyle two subscribing witnesses

thereto and ordered to be recorded which is done accordingly.
