I Lucas Brodhead make my last will & testament as following I given and bequeath unto my wife Mary Cordelia Brodhead for and during her life all my estate

real personal and mixed, and at her death, I give & bequeath the sane to my children or such of them as may be then living, and to the issue of such as may

may be then dead equally to be divided between them.

I further give to my wife full power and authority to sell & convey all or such part of my said estate as may be necessary for the payment of my just debts, the

proceeds of such sale after the payment of my debts to be held and used by her for herself during her life and then for the use of my children or their issue as

before mentioned. Lastly I hereby appoint my said wife the executrix of my will and Orlando Brown & Lysander Hord executors of the same. I give to my son

Lucas Brodhead my gold watch to be taken out of my personal estate before disposed of.

A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Lucas Brodhead decd. was produced in Court and was proven by the oaths of Joseph Gray and Asa Fara the

subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. Whereupon the same is truly recorded in my office.
