In the name of God amen, I, John Penny of the county of Franklin being not in bodily health, but of perfect sense and memory have made this my last will and testament in manner
and form following. viz,
Item, I devise that my beloved wife Elizabeth Penny have the use of my estate so lon as she remains my widow for the support of her and her children and in case she marries then
the whole of he said estate that my be in her possession to be equally divided between my children; Sanford, Nancy & Robert, except the horse I now own and her saddle which she
is to have. If in case any of my children before named should died without heirs or before the become of lawful age that their part of the estate shall be equally divided among those
still surviving.
Lastly, I appoint and constitute Robert Penny Rodrick Penny and John Rennick, executors of this my last will and testament. ____ and confirming this and disannulling all other
whatsoever. In witness whereunto I have set my hand and seal this

At a Court held for Franklin County on Tuesday the fifteenth day of November 1796.
A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of John Penny, decd. was proven in Court by the oaths of John Rennick, Robert Penny and Roderick Penny, Sr, which is ordered
to be recorded.
