In the name of God Amen, I William Murray of the District of Villa Gayoso, in the Government of Natchez being of sound mind and memory, but very sick and weak in body and the

uncertainty of this life, I constitute this instrument of writing my last Will and Testament. Imprimis, First of all it is my will and Desire that all my just Debts be paid as soon as may

be independent of any laws of indulgence provided that the same may be done without Distress. Item. It is also my Will and Desire that my Plantation and all other my Property

whatsoever that I possess in the province of Louisiana do remain unsold During the life of my wife Martha Murray with this exception express proviso that her son James McIntyre

do not live with her knowing that he would waste and expend any property in his hands, and in case that the said James McIntyre do live with his said mother then I will and Direct

that all my said property shall be sold and dispersed of as the law directs. Item, I give and bequeath unto Anna Maria Rumsey all that fifth part of my Estate and Property in this said

Province which the law allows to be at my own disposal to be paid here at the said Martha Murrays decease.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my beloved son William Murray all my other Estate and Property whatsoever that I now possess or ought to possess in any other country, wheath in the

United States or otherwise, real and Personal reserving to his mother all her rights provided for by the respective laws of the countries wherein my Estate shall lie or be in reserving also

and in any case whatsoever to the said Anna Marie Rumsey all that fifth part of my Estate in this country as by the Law at my own disposal bequeathed as aforesaid. I also give and

bequeath to my son William a gold watch now in the hands of Mr. Oliver Pollock, also a ring and stock-buckle now in my own possession and my seal bearing my Arms.

Item, I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend William Dunbar of Second Creek and John Smith of Villa Gayoso Esquires, Executors jointly of all that part of this my last Will and

Testament respecting and belonging to this country. I do also constitute and appoint my son William Murray sole Executor of all and every other part of this my last Will and

Testament.

In Witness whereof I have set my hand and affixed my seal this Seventh Day of September in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and ninety five.
