In the name of God amen, I Nancy Montague of Franklin county and state of Kentucky, of lawful age, being sick and weak in body, but of sound mind,

memory and understanding considering the certainty of death as well as the uncertainty of the time thereof and to the end that I may be the better

prepared to leave this world whenever it shall please God to call me hence; do make and ordain this my last will and testament in the manner following

to wit. It is my desire, in the first place, that my funeral expenses and my just debts shall be paid out of my property. In the second place it is my will

and desire that after the payment as aforesaid that all my property real, personal and mixed shall revert to and be invested after my death my mother

Agnes Montague, to be owned occupied and used by her to her only proper use and behaf during her natural life and to be disposed of at her death

agreeably to her will and pleasure.

The property refered to in this my last will and consists of the following parcels, to wit, a tract or parcel of land,

situated in the county of Jefferson and state aforesaid adjoining the land of William Lecrets and purchased of Thos. Reynolds containing about sixty nine

and one half acres, also a negro boy slave named Anthony, four hundred dollars in money now in the hands of Mr. Joseph Taylor together with sundry

articles of Household furniture all of which parcels of property as aforesaid, I do by this my last will and testament bequeath unto my said mother Agnes

Montague as aforesaid.

And in the third place, I do appoint my said mother Agnes Montague my sole Executrix for the for the direction of the aforesaid premises.
