In the name of God Amen, I Thomas Lloyd of the County of Woodford and State of Virginia do make this my last Will and Testament. I give and bequeath unto my

Daughter, Mary, the wife of James Tate and to her heirs forever, one equal miety of the tract of land on which I now reside, to be laid off at the most eastwardly end

thereof.

I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Arminta Julianna and to her heirs forever, one equal moiety of the remainder of my said tract of land to be laid off at the most

westwardly end thereof.

I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Martha Lloyd Cox and to her heirs forever all the residue of my said tract of land, also my negro girl named Linda. But, if

my said grand daughter should die before she marries or comes to the age of twenty one years then I will that the said land and negro girl bequeathed to her shall go

to my said wife and her heirs forever.

I give and bequeath to Thomas Cox Liberty to plant an orchard on said tract of land and have it during his life.

I give and bequeath unto my said wife and unto my said Daughter, and unto said grand daughter and their heirs forever, all my other lands to be equally divided between

them according to quantify and quality.

And, I give and bequeath unto my said wife and to be her heirs forever all my other claims and personal possessions of every kind whatsoever.

Finally, I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said wife Arminta Juliana Lloyd Executrix and my friends and neighbors Nathaniel Saunders and William Montgomery,

Executors of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this Tenth day of August One thousand Seven hundred and ninety two.

The last will and testament of Thomas Lloyd was produced into Court and proved by oath of Caleb Wallace and Elisha English two of the subscribing witnesses thereto.
