To In the name of the ever blessed and adorable Trinity God the Father God, the son of God, the Holy Ghost, Amen.

I, Balinda Fenwick, being in a very bad low state of health & feeble in body and in my sound senses, good memory & understanding do make, publish and declare this instrument to

contain my last Will and Testament hereby also declaring all former will or wills made by me null & void.

Firstly; my will and desire is after my decease that my Executor herein hereafter named do see my body decently buried in a Christian like manner agreeable to the rules, rites and

ceremonies of the one Holy Roman Apostalic Catholic Church of which (tho unwothy) freely, heartily, & sincerly profess myself a member.

Secondly; my will & desire is that my said Executor do pay all my lawful just debts of every kind by such ways & means as he may think proper and the exigency of my Estate may

require.

Thirdly; I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Calhoon, a negro boy named Joe, one bed and furniture together with all my Tea and other crockery ware of every kind and the

miniature of my son Joseph Fenwick to her, her heirs and assigns forever.

Fourthly; I give and bequeath to my son Joseph Fenwick's children, Ten dollars to be equally divided between them as such of them as may be living.

Fifth; I give and bequeath to my son Enoch Fenwick a negro girl named Eliza, one bed and furniture, his choice of my Iron pot racks to him, his heirs and assigns forever.

Sixth; I give and bequeath to my son Henry Fenwick one bed & furniture to him, his heirs and assigns forever provided however that my said son Henry do pay the kind Edward D.

Fenwick Ten dollars for pious uses or purposes.

Seventhly; I give and bequeath to my son Ignatius M. Fenwick a negro woman named Bridgett and one bed & furniture to him, his heirs and assigns forever.

all my Estate of every kind not herein otherwise disposed of my will & desire is shall be equally divided between my daughter Elizabeth Calhoon & my two sons Enoch & Ignatius

Fenwick or otherwise as they may agree among themselves the same shall be sold and the money arising therefrom be equally divided between my said daughter Elizabeth & two

sons Enoch & Ignatius on this condition however that my said daughter Elizabeth & Two sons Enoch & Ignatiusdo pay Twenty-five dollars each towards the late purchase of one

hundred and eighty-five acres of land from Simon Hickey intended for church purposes. Provided nevertheless and the full payments of Twenty-five dollars each shall be made should

the right Rev. Doctor Carroll the present Bishop of Baltimore and his successors be consulted and his or their instructions followed in making the Title to the aforesaid one hundred

& eighty five acres of land - Provided also that should the aforesaid purchase of one hundred and eighty-five acres of !

land fail and not be carried into effect for the purposes aforesaid by any means. That is my will & desires (1 word) it is the condition on which the aforesaid legatees last made to my

said daughter & two sons that my said daughter Elizabeth and my two sons Enoch & Ignatius shall pay the aforesaid Twenty five dollars each for pious or church purposes under

the direction & instructions to what purposes of the Right Revd. Doct. Carroll, Bishop of Baltimore & his successors to such purposes (2 words) or as they may direct.

Ninth and lastly; I appoint my son Ignatius Fenwick my sole Executor to this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Balinda Fenwick have hereunto set my name

& seal this Twenty-eighth day of May, One Thousand Eight-hundred & eight

At a Court held for Franklin County on Monday the 20th day of June 1808 a writing purporting to be the last Will and Testamant of Balinda Fenwick, dec's was produced in court and

proven by the oath of John M. Scott and James Twyman subscribing witnesses thereto, which is ordered to be recorded.
