In the name of God amen I Richard Dawson of the County of Franklin and State of Kentucky being mindful of my mortality do this thirtyeth day of May in the year of our Lord
1823 make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, first I resign my soul into the hands of almighty God who give it hoping and believing in a
resurrection of my sins by the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ, and my body I commit to the Earth to be buried in a Christian like manner and my worldly estate I give and
devise as follows -
After all my just debts being paid I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Ellender Dawson all my personal and real property or Esate with all that my message and Tenament
with the appertenances situate lying and being in Frankling County Ky on the Kentucky River beginning on the Beer Branch with Taylors line and running with the meanders of the
Branch to the River then up the River opposit to a small Branch and Strait up with the Branch to Taylors line and from thence with P line to the Beginning to have and to hold as
long as she is my widowe and I do hereby appoint my trusty friend James Dawson with my wife my sole Executors to this my last will and testament. Revoking all other wills by
me made in Testimony where of I have hereunto set my hand and afxd my seal this day as above mentioned.
