In the name of God Amen, I Henry Crutcher of the County of Franklin and State of Kentucky being of perfect strength of mind and memory but, calling to mind the transitory and

fleeting state of time ant things, do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following, to wit: Impremis, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Martha

Crutcher, during her natural life or widowhood and after her death or marriage to go to my children and be divided among them as herein after mentioned, the land and house wherein

I now live, supposed to to contain ninety one and on half acres, all the farming tools and plantation utensils thereon, all my stock of horses, two cows and calves, four head of sheep,

ten head of hogs, all the geese, the household and kitchen furniture of every description including my beds and bedding. Also two negroes, one named Charles, about fourteen years

old and other named Celia, about nine years old.

Impremis, I give and bequeath to my children; Joana Sacra, Isaac Crutcher, Elizabeth Pemberton and Catherine Cook to them and their heirs forever the following negroes, to wit: a

negro woman named Lucy, two negro fellows named, Phillip and the other named David and a negro girl named Hanna and their increase. Also, all the remainder of my stock, not

herein before mentioned. It is my will and desire is that the negroes and their increase and the stock last mentioned at my death shall be equally divided among my said aforementioned

children and further it is my will and desire that after the death or marriage of my said wife, Martha that the two negroes Charles and Celia and their increase together with all the

remainder of the property herein given her as foresaid (the house and land excepted) shall be also equally divided among my last mentioned children and their heirs and I do give and

bequeath the same accordingly.

Impremis, I given and bequeath to my sons; Henry and Reuben Crutcher to them and their heirs forever and to be equally divided among them, the house and land whereon I now live,

but they are not to have possession thereof during this life or widowhood of my said wife, Martha, without her consent or approbation. And, whereas by the death of Mrs. Ann Beasley

of Caroline County, Virginia and the will of her deceased husband, I am entitled by marriage with my said wife, Martha to a certain proportion of the estate of said deceased. It is my

will and desire that whatever title or interest I may have in and to the said estate last mentioned shall be equally divided among my said sons, Henry and Reuben Crutcher and their

heirs forever, and I do bequeath the same to them accordingly.

Lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my sons - in - law; William Cook and James Sacra and Jesse Brown and Edmund Beasley, executors of this my last will and testament.

And, I do hereby revoke and annul all and every other will or wills by me heretofore made and to do further hereby declare publish and acknowledge this and this only to be my last

will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto publish bed my and affixed my seal this twelfth day of September 1806.

At a Court held for Franklin County on Monday the 16th day of March 1807. A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Henry Crutcher, deceased was produced into

Court and proven by the oaths of James Davis, Wm. Samuel and Achilles Sneed subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded.

Administration granted to Jesse Brown, Reuben Pemberton, Isaac Crocke, with Henry Crutcher and Achilles Sneed their securities in the penal sum of $3,000 conditioned as law, &

unto who then took the oath prescribed by law.
