This picture of Henry Clay and Ellar Adams Spencer was taken on their wedding day in the early 1900's.
Henry and Ellar raised a large family, and lived their entire married life on their farm at Rogers, Kentucky. Married at 18 years of age and remaining faithfully married 62 years until Henry Clay's death in 1966. Ellar lived on another 8 years and succumbed to death at the age of 89. She remained very active in the lives of her children and grandchildren giving advise and counciling as needed.
