Ol' Timers Get Together
Bob Feller, left, of Cleveland, Ohio, and Pete Center, of Campton, who were teammates on the Cleveland Indian Baseball Team from 1939-1946, met for the first time in 44 years at the Bob Feller Baseball Card Show held April 28, 1990 at the Heritage Hall in Lexington. The reunion was a great pleasure for Pete who received an autographed picture of Feller's Hall of Fame plaque. Feller presented Pete's granddaughter, Heather Lynn, with an autographed baseball. The meeting brought back many happy memories for Pete.
