She was born in Jackson County, Kentucky to the late Jesse James and Susie Smith. She was a member of the Wildie Christian Church. Virginia is survived by her children Timothy Wolfe of Wildie and Stephanie A. Smith of Arkansas City, Kansas; one sister Margaret Ricketts of Richmond and three grandchildren Nicholas Eaton, Jared Smith and Jaclyn Wolfe. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea with Rev. Kenton Parkey officiating. Burial will follow in Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday morning after 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Scott Parkey, Jay Stevens, Jeff Stevens, Darrell Smith, Anthony Coffey and Brian Coffey.
