Obituary: Berry, Shirley (Lindon Chapman)- Sunday, January 6, 2008 The Middletown Journal - January 8, 2008 Submitted by: ********************************************************************** Shirley Lindon Chapman Berry, age 73, of Franklin, OH passed away January 6, 2008 at her residence. She was born October 5, 1934 in Insko, KY to Arnold and Myrhine (Lindon) Lindon. She worked at Aeronca in the blue printing division for 34 years retiring in 1997. Shirley was a member of the Poasttown First Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband Chalmer Chapman in 1991 and brother Sherwin "Buck" Lindon. Shirley is survived by her husband Donald Berry; daughter Teresa (Richard) Bates of Carlisle, OH; son Wayne Chapman of Franklin, OH; grandchildren Jeremy Abney, Ricky (Kayla) Bates and Taylor Chapman all of Franklin, OH; 1 great-granddaughter Julia Bates of Franklin; brother Herbert (Roberta) Lindon of Franklin, sister Betty Jo Cunningham of Five Lake, MI, brothers Kenneth Roger (Tammy) Lindon of Middletown, OH and Ralph (Georgia) Lindon of Dayton, OH and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held January 9, 2008 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held January 10, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Randy Wallace officiating. Interment will be at Woodhill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Middletown, 1131 Manchester Avenue, Middletown, OH 45042.
