OBITUARY: Ballard, Ruby, January 5, 2004, Middletown Journal, Middletown, Ohio From: vivianmoon@juno.com Date: January 5, 2004 Ruby Ballard Ruby Ballard, 71, of Hamilton, formerly of Middletown, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, at Hospice of Cincinnati. She was born April 27, 1932, in Campton, Wolfe County, Ky. She was a homemaker and a member of the Poasttown First Church of God. Mrs. Ballard was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Ballard in 1989; parents, James and Myrtle Spencer; two brothers and a sister. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Jackson and her husband Rick of Waynesville, and Bernie Murray and her husband Bill of Trenton; sons, John Tolson of Hamilton, Ron Tolson and his wife Sandy Roberts of Trenton, Ray Tolson and his wife Becki of Middletown, Scott Ballard of Middletown and Mike Ballard of Trenton; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters; one brother and many loving family members and friends. ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, at the Baker-Stevens Funeral Home, Middletown. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, at the funeral home with the Rev. Randy Wallace officiating. Disposition will be in Woodhill Cemetery, Franklin.
