OBITUARY: Sizemore, Polk - Friday, May 7, 1909 Washington Post May 9, 1909 Submitted by: chilipepper5454@aol.com ********************************************************************* WITH THE DESIRED RESULT. Hazel Green Ky. Herald Polk Sizemore, of Adel, in Morgan County, committed suicide by shooting, Friday last. The particulars, as learned here, are that he took a shotgun and placing it on a chair with the muzzle at his abdomen pushed the trigger with a stick, with the desired result. The cause of the deed is said to have been family trouble, having remarked: "I have lived in hell for years and the original place can be no worse, so I will go there." He leaves a wife, nine children and a host of grandchildren. The remains were laid to rest Saturday. ********************************************************************* USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free genealogical information on the Internet, data may be freely used for personal research and by non-commercial entities as long as this message remains on all copied material.
