OBITUARY: Bolin, Opal Tolson - Saturday, September 2, 2006 Middletown Journal, Middletown, Ohio - September 3, 2006 Submitted by: vivianmoon@juno.com ********************************************************************* Opal BOLIN, age 83, of Middletown, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 2, 2006 at 5:55 a.m. at Willow Knoll Retirement Community where she had resided for almost 4 years. She was born April 5, 1923 in Campton, Kentucky and lived in Middletown since 1940. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Courtney and Elizabeth (Culbertson) Tolson; her former husband, Paul; her son, Robert Bolin; her brother, Paul Tolson; and sisters, Maxine Wilson and Mary Peck. She is survived by her daughters, Glenda Moore of Middletown, and Paula (Ron) Hill of Franklin; grandchildren, Andrea (Chad) Lindsey, Brent Hill, Kali Hill and Bobby Moore; two great grandchildren, Lilly Lindsey and Addison Lindsey; three brothers, Fred Tolson of Phoenix, Arizona, Emerson (Lil) Tolson of Carlisle and Porter (Mary) Tolson of Middletown; two sisters, Garnett Neal of Middletown and Ada (Jack) Shackelford of Middletown; as well as Many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 6, 2006 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Art Wilson officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.
