JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON OPAL DIETRICH FROM THE HILLSBORO (OH) TIMES-GAZETTE 2/14/08 Opal Esther Wilson Dietrich, 98, of Chester, SC, formerly of Greenfield, OH died February 11, 2008 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Beaufort, SC. Born March 2, 1909, at Lee City, KY, she was the daughter of Stephen D. and Laura (Rose) Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Dietrich, on October 10, 1983. They were united in marriage on December 23, 1928. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Roberta "Betty" and Arthur Shonkwiler of Columbus, OH; six grandchildren, Sandy Neiditz, Deb Garro, Terri Nelson, Jeff Dietrich, Denise Shuford and Greg Dietrich; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons and a daughter-in-law, Betty Ann Dietrich of Chester, SC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three children, Robert, Marlene and William Dietrich and by two brothers, Elmer and Edgar Wilson. Services will be held at 11 a.m. February 18, 2008 at Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home, Greenfield, OH with a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Bethany Cemetery, Lebanon. Officiating will be the Rev. Chuck Shonkwiler.
