JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON ORVILLE DEAN FROM THE SPRINGFIELD (OH) NEWS-SUN 12/7/08 Orville Dean went to be with the Lord on December 5, 2008. He was born August 18, 1922 in Wolfe County, KY, the son of Roy and Pearly Mae Dean. Orville had a kind and generous heart. He was a Veteran of the United States Army during World War II and was retired form Shaffers Bakery. Survivors include a son and his wife; Lorn and Marjorie Dean of Phoenix, AZ, a daughter; Glenna Sue Stover of Enon, OH, grandsons and their wives; Douglas and Jennifer Stover, Paul Christopher and Sherry Dean of Maricopa, AZ, granddaughters; Lori Ann Dean and Beth Loosle and her husband Clint of AZ, great grandchildren; Joshua Whitacre, Michelle Wilson of Springfield, OH, Sara Dean of AZ, three brothers; Hargus, Willard and Goble Dean all of Washington Court House, OH and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years; Stella Caudill Dean, a brother; Marvin Dean, two sisters; Alta Everage and Areva Gibbs, a granddaughter Sherry Lynn Whitacre and his parents. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM December 9, 2008 in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM December 10, 2008 in the funeral home with Pastor Bud Rose officiating.
