OBITUARY: Wade, Marie (Thomas) From: vivianmoon@juno.com    Date: February 3, 2004 February 1, 2004 Middletown Journal, Middletown, Ohio Marie Wade Marie Wade, 87, of Middletown, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 2, 2004, at her residence. She was born Oct. 4, 1916, in Torrent, Ky., and moved to Middletown in 1938. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and was a conscientious caregiver to many children and the elderly. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Josie (Parsons) Thomas; a son, Thomas E. Wade; a daughter, Carol Ann Wade; and a brother, Willie Thomas. She is survived by two sons, William H. Wade, wife Peggy of Las Vegas, Nev., and Ernest L. Wade, wife Sheila of Trenton; three daughters, Nancy Hoskins, husband Bob, of Middletown, Sally Meeker, husband Ken, of Middletown, and Thelma May, husband Richard; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, a brother, Carl Ray Thomas of Cincinnati; two sisters, Opal Thomas of Lexington, Ky., and Jean Blackburn of Miamisburg; special nieces, Emile White of Lexington, Ky., and Sandi Postle of Dayton; special friends of many years, Viola Shaw of Blue Ash, and Etta Bratcher of Jacksonburg and many beloved cousins and friends. ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Randy Wheeler officiating.
