OBITUARY: Hatton, Marvin G. - Thursday, October 5, 2006 Middletown Journal - October 8, 2006 Submitted by: Norma Adams ********************************************************************* Marvin G. Hatton, age 74, of Monroe, passed away Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Ky. He was a native of Wolfe county, a member of the Christian Enterprise Baptist Church; he retired from Interstate Folding Box Co. and was very active in the Middletown and Monroe area. Marvin was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Verla Mae Davis Hatton, his parents Benjamin Franklin and Pearl Harris Hatton, brothers Troy Clifton Hatton, Dorsey Hatton, Forest "Jack" Hatton and a sister Florence Hatton. He is survived by his brother and sisters-in-law, Leo (Dixie) Davis of Middletown, Fleta Swim of Franklin, Jean Hatton of Campton, Ky., and Kenneth Bailey of Bukhart, Kentucky; nieces Christine Strobee, Billie Joe, Lois Profett MDonald, Lola Profett Ladd, Loraine Hatton Harris, Wanda Rowe and Karen Davis Clark; nephews Thomas and Robert Hatton, Michael Joseph Schriff, Lee Graham Davis, Terry and Danny Bailey.
